What is Glycerin Soap? Soap is made by combining a natural vegetable oil base with lye, otherwise known as sodium hydroxide. Vegetable glycerin is the natural byproduct of the fats combined with the lye.

1. All-Natural Soap – Free Of Toxins
The skin is highly porous and absorbs much of what we put on it into our body. The cold process to make glycerin soap takes time, but produces an all-natural product free of chemicals. The additives in many commercial soaps may cause health issues. While many glycerin soap manufacturers will add other natural ingredients to address skin conditions, you shouldn’t have to worry about artificial hardeners, or other chemicals like you would with many of the products you find on the grocery store shelf.
